PerfumesThe word perfume comes from the Latin word per fume which means “through smoke”. People have used scents, oils and unguents on their bodies from thousands of years. The early Egyptians used perfume balms for fragrance and they used rose and peppermint in the production of perfumed oils. In the era of 1600s Eau De cologne was introduced in Georgia. They also developed perfumes, toilette spray, skin lotions and body spray for the use of body and skin. The 19th century was the first era of elegant and real perfumes in the world.
